Transformational workshops for women

An aspect of my work is offering women’s healing and transformational workshops – ceremonies and rites of passage.

From the beginning of time, women have gathered in circle for ceremony, prayer and celebration. A vital role in women coming together in this way is the return to balance, healing and connection. An awareness of the sacredness of a women’s journey through her life cycles is almost lost in the western world and yet there is a gradual return to sacred rites of passage for women. A reconnection to the sacred Feminine heals generations before and yet to come and has a positive ripple effect for families, communities and the planet.

Rites of passage

Rites of passage are transitions which are naturally imbued with sacred purpose. The seasons of the natural world are full of rites of passage – as we move from one season to another and one moon cycle to another. But how many women today have experienced a ceremony to celebrate and bless their rite of passage journey through the seasons of women? Through rites of passage ritual, we can re-story, re-connect and remember our sacred fullness of being and bless our journey and each other’s.

Most women in the Western world have never experienced being celebrated at the time of their first menstrual period. With the old story of secrecy and shame still attached to menstruating many women reach menopause having never been acknowledged and celebrated in their sacred journey of menarche. Reclaiming your menarche journey in a rite of passage ceremony is a healing and life affirming experience and a gift to other women.

Menopause is a profound journey, discovery and awakening to the Devine Feminine creative power within.
The menopause journey is a sacred time in a women’s life and an initiation into a new level of creativity and feminine power. As women we are no longer physically fertile but are immensely creative and fertile within. During the transition of menopause many women experience conflicting messages and beliefs about a women’s worth, value and purpose. Reclaiming menopause as a sacred journey and initiation into the depth of our being, we can reclaim our journey as female wisdom keepers and sit on the throne of the Autumn Queen.

I am in my most natural state when I’m singing, playing, being spontaneous and joyful. I naturally create ceremony and look for the sacred in everyday life. I have a love for the truth and find my expression orientates towards healing, art making, song, working with women and the divinatory system of astrology. The artist in me likes to create containers for spirit, in ceremony, group facilitation and my work with people through coaching and astrology.
